My grandparents moved from the Orient in America in an attempt to provide a better future for their family. Even though my parents did not agree with moving there, the fact that we had U.S. relatives meant a lot for my travelling experiences. As a student, I decided to move in with my grandparents across the sea and study there. Nonetheless, like my father, I also felt a strong connection to my people, experiencing the nostalgia of just leaving everything behind without helping out. Immigration consultancy seemed to be one of the few jobs that reconciled my inner-state – I can now help those from back home build a new future for themselves, all with the help of the people at the Justice Immigration Institute.
